System Monitoring tool

Simple System Info Tool | See Your Browser Data - Digital Tools

🖥️ Simple System Info Tool

See what your browser actually shares — no fake sensors, no hidden tricks

📋 Your Browser Information

⬤ Updates only when you refresh or click button • Stops when tab is hidden to save battery

⚙️ CPU Cores
ℹ️ Logical cores. Some browsers hide this.
🧠 RAM Estimate
ℹ️ Approximate total RAM (Chromium browsers only).
🔋 Battery Info
⚠️ Battery API is being deprecated by browsers. We check once (if available) — no repeated polling.
📡 Network Type
ℹ️ Shows 4G, WiFi, slow 2G if browser shares it.
🌐 Browser & OS
📱 Screen Size
ℹ️ Shows your browser window size (not physical screen). Resize window to see change.

⚡ Honest tool: This reads only what your browser allows. No background spy, no continuous battery polling. Battery API is being phased out by browsers — don't rely on it.

✅ What This Tool Really Does

This is a simple, truthful tool. It checks the information your web browser decides to share. It does NOT install anything on your computer, and it does NOT access hardware sensors like temperature or fan speed — no website can do that for security reasons.

🔍 What you actually get:
  • ✔️ CPU core count (if browser shares it)
  • ✔️ Approximate RAM size (only on Chrome, Edge, Brave)
  • ✔️ Battery level & charging status — checked once (if browser still supports Battery API). Most modern browsers are removing this for privacy.
  • ✔️ Network connection type (4G, 5G, WiFi, etc.)
  • ✔️ Your browser name, operating system, window size

Why use this? Great for a quick look at your device info when talking to tech support or just curious. No fake "advanced monitoring", no misleading claims.

📊 How This Tool Is Different

FeatureThis ToolFake "Monitor" Tools
Shows actual browser data✅ Yes, transparent❌ Often fake animations
Claims to read CPU temp❌ No, we explain limits✅ Yes (but impossible)
Battery API usage⚠️ One-time check (future-safe fallback)❌ Repeated polling (deprecated)
Stops when tab inactive✅ Yes, interval pauses❌ Keeps running in background
Screen resolution accuracy✅ Shows window size (honest)❌ Claims "physical resolution" wrongly
Event listeners✅ No duplication, clean setup❌ Often memory leaks

💡 Many websites claim "full system monitoring" but they can't access your real hardware. This tool stays honest about what browsers can and cannot do.

❓ Common Questions

🔹 Can this tool see my CPU temperature or fan speed?
No — and no website can. Web browsers do not have access to hardware sensors like temperature or fan RPM for security reasons. This tool only reads what browsers voluntarily share: CPU core count, network type, etc.
🔹 Why doesn't my battery show up?
The Battery Status API is being deprecated by most modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) due to privacy concerns. If you see "Not available" or "API deprecated", that's normal. We check once on page load as a courtesy, but don't rely on this feature.
🔹 Is the RAM size always correct?
Not always. Only some Chromium browsers share memory via navigator.deviceMemory. Even then it's an approximate value. If you see "Not available", your browser doesn't expose this info.
🔹 Does this tool track or store my data?
Absolutely not. Everything runs inside your browser. We never send any data to any server. You can even use it offline after the page loads.
🔹 Why does the tool stop updating when I switch tabs?
To save battery and CPU, we pause automatic updates when the tab is not visible. That's a feature, not a bug. When you come back, you can click "Refresh Data Now" to get fresh info.
🔹 What does "Screen Size" actually show?
It shows your browser window size (viewport width × height), not your physical monitor resolution. This is more useful for web developers. If you resize your browser window, you'll see the numbers change.
