Robot.txt Generator
🤖 Robots.txt Pro Studio
Generate, test, simulate Googlebot with fixed parser, correct pattern matching (*, $), and real specificity priority. Upload existing files, add Allow/Disallow rules, and see exactly how Google decides.
⚙️ Build your robots.txt
⚠️ Google ignores crawl-delay, but Bing/Yandex respect it.
Use * for wildcard, $ for end-of-URL matching. Example: /private/*.pdf$ blocks all PDFs in /private/

🔍 Real-time Validation & Googlebot Simulator (Fixed)
✅ Fixed: Exact user-agent priority (Googlebot block overrides *). Most specific pattern wins (longest literal length). Tie → last rule in block. Supports * and $.
✨ Why this tool is different
✅ Advantages
• Allow/Block UI with wildcards
• Upload & test existing files
• Googlebot simulator with correct specificity
• Real-time syntax checking
• Export .txt or .json

🎯 Why use it?
Most tools get priority wrong. Our parser follows Google's official logic: exact user-agent match, longest pattern wins, last rule on tie. No guesswork.

📊 vs other tools
Others: broken pattern matching, wrong rule order, ignore specificity. Ours: fully compliant with Google's robots.txt spec.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How does rule priority work exactly? ➕
Google uses the most specific matching rule: the one with the longest literal pattern length. If two rules have the same length, the last one in the block wins. Also, a dedicated "User-agent: Googlebot" block overrides the "*" block entirely.
What wildcards are supported? ➕
* matches any sequence (including empty). $ anchors the pattern to the end of the URL. Example: "/private/*.pdf$" blocks only PDFs ending in /private/.
Can I upload my existing robots.txt? ➕
Yes! Click the upload zone, pick your file. The tool parses it correctly (handles comments, multiple user-agents) and shows you exactly how Googlebot would evaluate any URL.
Why did my previous tool give a different result? ➕
Most free tools do not implement the specificity algorithm. They just check first match or ignore pattern length. Our simulator is accurate to Google's documentation.
